I (Noa) have been a part of the triathlon world for a very long time... Since ~1992! I competed in hundreds of multisport events and since the late 90's, coached countless athletes, from beginners to professionals and everything in between.
In addition to coaching individual athletes, I have extensive experience coaching in a group setting, both in a high performance 'squad' environment, and a more 'traditional' club setting. In recent years, I have been feeling like neither are the best environment for the majority of athletes, regardless of their ability level, so I have decided it is time to create a new kind of triathlon community in Vancouver.
A growing Community of likeminded individuals for online and in person connections
Regular events - group Training sessions (coached + uncoached), educational seminars
Triathlon resource library in nutrition, technique, training, physiology and more
Everyone from beginners to high level competitive triathletes. Realistically, the more people join the club, the more likely it is that everyone will have someone at their own level to train with, regardless of ability or experience level
Yes, absolutely! If fact, we had this in mind when coming up with the concept of this club. We know you want to swim / bike / run with your friends and have a variety of goals and interests that perhaps go beyond triathlon. We want to give you access to a dedicated triathlon community without locking you in one club.
In an effort to cater to as many people as possible, the locations will be around kits, Stanley park, mount pleasant/riley park and the north shore.
Similarly, some sessions will be held early morning, some in the evening and some on a Sunday morning, depending on the session itself for logistics.
