Bike of the Week - Ribble Rebellion Ultra SLR

This week's bike is AS LOUD AS IT GETS 🔥

Ribble Ultra SLR bike of the week - The Ribble Ultra SLR for the new Ribble Rebellion team. It is a UK based team that aims at taking on the international crit scene with a roster of riders from the UK, Europe, Canada and the USA. Both the Canadian riders on the team are Vancouver locals, so if you are from Vancouver, you likely noticed Al and Cam riding these bikes. I mean, how can you miss these, right?!

If you have seen the team’s bike, you likely noticed that all the riders have the orange seatpost, but each of them has a different color matched handlebar and fork, which is a pretty cool concept. I am digging the pink handlebar / fork combo on this one, I think it's my favorite.

It is always fun working with someone who has been riding bikes for a very, very long time… It’s less about the big changes that are often needed and more so about refining, learning, gathering data for future use, analyzing movement patterns and digging deeper into those marginal gains we all love to chase. This Ribble Ultra SLR bike of the week build includes:

  • Frame & Forks: Ribble Ultra SL R Disc (Toray T1000/T800 Carbon Monocoque)
  • Handlebars: Ribble Ultra Aero Carbon Integrated
  • Groupset: Shimano Ultegra Di2 with Rotor Aero 56/44T chainrings
  • Wheels: Mavic Comic SL 65 Tubeless Disc
  • Tires: Continental GP5000 S TR, 700x28c
  • Seatpost: Ribble Ultra SL R Carbon 10mm setback
